vpop2qldap Script

Description

I once had to migrate a vpopmail-setup (with user data stored in a MySQL database) to qmail-ldap. Below you'll find the script I used. It was working for my purposes, but it's by no means feature-complete.

It reads the user information from the vpopmail-MySQL table. It also reads forwarders from the corresponding .qmail-files and copies the maildirs to its new location. It does not honor auto responders or other delivery lines however.

Requirements

The script is written in Perl. It requires the following CPAN modules:

• DBI
• File::Copy::Recursive
• File::Path
• Net::LDAP
• Net::LDAP::Entry
